Echo Falls Fruit Fusion Sour Apple 75cl

Echo Falls has added Sour Apple to its Fruit Fusion range, following the Blue Raspberry variant that sold more than two million bottles. It is a bright green, 9% ABV fruit wine built around crisp green apple with a sharp sour finish — a sweet-meets-sour flavour profile in a 75cl bottle. The bottle itself carries a glow-in-the-dark Echo Falls monogram, which is what has driven most of the attention the launch has had so far. Charge it under a light, turn the lights off, and the monogram glows.

Tasting notes

Bright, almost electric green in the glass. Green apple on the nose, sweet on the palate, with a tart, sour apple finish. Best served well chilled, straight from the fridge, over ice if you prefer it longer.

Why we've got it early

Sour Apple is a wholesale exclusive through September and doesn't reach supermarkets nationwide until October. We've stocked it from launch, so you can get hold of it in Edinburgh weeks before it appears on the big grocery shelves.
