DESCRIPTION
A subtle, yet bright, mahogany in colour. Aromas of vanilla, port wine and walnut end with a crescendo of fine spices. Mellow and velvety to taste, it evokes flavours of candied fruits and plum with spicy hints of cardamom and cinnamon: a brandy of great richness and rarity. Only the very finest eaux-de-vie from France's most prestigious wine regions are selected and then carefully aged in the finest Limousin oak casks for a minimum of 15 years. In that time it develops into something that is more than extra special, something exquisite, a brandy that is nothing less than extraordinary (XO). Background: Three Barrels is produced by a small company with a long standing family heritage based in the town of Cognac, south west France. Three Barrels takes its name from the exclusive use in its blend of brandies sourced from the 3 famous French wine regions of Burgundy, Bordeaux and Champagne.
