Pickering's Gin is made at Summerhall Distillery in Edinburgh, where the team began producing gin in 2013. Its recipe is based on a handwritten Bombay recipe dated 17 July 1947, which was rediscovered after being kept as a family secret for more than six decades. The recipe was refined for modern tastes before Pickering's launched in 2014.
At 42% ABV, Pickering's delivers a balanced combination of juniper, citrus and warming spice. Its botanical recipe includes juniper, coriander, cardamom, angelica, fennel, anise, cloves, lemon and lime, giving the gin a layered character that works beautifully in a classic G&T as well as cocktails.
